COVID-19 and Specialty Coffee Survey Response #5 | Coffee Delivery: How Does It Work?
As many businesses are adapting as quickly as possible to new ways of doing business, takeaway and delivery are becoming valuable options. We brought in several experts to discuss how businesses can successfully add or highlight delivery in their business model.
This webinar featured Jeff Clinard and Sam Penix. Jeff Clinard is the founder and owner of Bear Coast Coffee, a Southern California Specialty Coffee Roaster. His background in marketing and entrepreneurship has been pivotal during this time of virus and economic uncertainty. Sam Penix is co-owner and CEO of Everyman Espresso. His passion for community has created magical cafes across the city of New York that combine high-quality beverages and physical spaces where neighbors form transformative connections.
The webinar was moderated by Peter Giuliano, the SCA’s Chief Research Officer, and Scott Calendar, Vice President of Marketing and Consumer Strategy at La Marzocco USA.

About COVID-19 and Specialty Coffee Survey Response: A Webinar Series
As you may have seen in recent SCA announcements, we recently created a flash survey for the specialty coffee community to assess the impact of COVID-19 on businesses throughout the supply chain. Join us for series of webinars covering the results of this survey!
These webinars will go over the results of the survey and key insights from respondents, including respondents’ suggestions for business adaptation in the new environment. This webinar series will serve to document the impact on the community and also to outline specific strategies small businesses are using right now to navigate and survive the current climate.
